Unfollowing His Heart

Just weeks after Chyna, whose real name is Angela Renee White, fueled engagement rumors, the Arthur George designer deleted all photos from his Instagram account on March 6, 2016. Shortly after, Chyna posted a meme to her account referencing a breakup, leading fans to believe the two had split. “They had a fight about how much time they had been spending together but they’ll be back,” a source told Us at the time. “They could be back together whenever, it’s so dramatic.”

Rock Solid

Surprise! On April 5, 2016, the internet went wild when the on-again couple posted photos of the makeup artist wearing a massive sparkler on her ring finger. Chyna’s best friend Amber Rose confirmed the news on her own Instagram page. “Congratulations to my Family @blacchyna and @robkardashian!!!” Rose captioned a snap of the couple. “Please don’t let nothing or no one tear u guys apart! I never seen my sis so happy and I couldn’t be more happy for her! Sometimes we find love in the strangest places ?”

Heat of the Moment

In July 2016, Kardashian deleted all photos of his fiancée without explanation. A source told Us at the time that the social media cleanse was caused by an “explosive fight” that the couple decided to work through. “Yes, it was a fight,” the insider told Us. “But they will be over it and basically are.” The heated argument later appeared on the couple’s E! reality show, Rob & Chyna

New Man?

Chyna was spotted without her engagement ring enjoying a lunch date with a mystery man in February 2017. The meal came less than one week after she was seen getting cozy with the same man at Estrella’s MA Theater in Los Angeles while watching the Super Bowl on February 5, 2017.

Working It Out

Nearly a month after their split, Chyna revealed that the couple was attending therapy sessions and attempting to patch up their relationship. “I feel like every person who’s in a long-term relationship, or who is committed to their person, goes through ups and downs,” she told Cosmopolitan South Africa in an interview published in March 2017. “Everything isn’t always going to be peaches and cream. If it is, then it’s fake. I’m in it for the long haul.”

Still Hope?

Despite their rocky history, Chyna told DailyMailTV in October 2018 “we’ll see” when asked if she would ever consider reconciling with her ex. Meanwhile, she had nothing but positive things to say about Kardashian when it came to their daughter, Dream. “You can look into her face and just tell she was made with love,”  the Lashed founder said to the outlet. “She’s, like, perfect.”

Kardashian reportedly filed to lower his monthly child support payment to Chyna in November 2018, according to The Blast. The former Keeping Up With the Kardashians star claims he “can no longer afford” the court ordered payment of $20,000, after hitting a rough patch following the 2017 restraining order Chyna filed against him for domestic violence.
